Step Screen

Coarse and fine wastes retained by the grids still contain water. Grid principles developed to reduce water contents and volumes simply work; The solid wastes kept in the grates are conveyed by conveyor or poured directly from the grill milk to the grill press. The spiral inside the grill press drags the grate waste to the outlet. The required pressure is provided by the weight and friction of the solids accumulated in the discharge pipe. Meanwhile, the filtered water is poured into the drip pan through the drainage holes and discharged therefrom.

Basket Screen

The screen can be manufactured in perforatedor wedge-wire models. Screenings accumulated on the screen during flow are pressed and discharged, like in screw conveyors. It can be operated in time-controlled, evelcontrolled, or both time- and levelcontrolled mode.

Static Screen 

Static screens are used to remove solids from waste water ; hence they reduce the solid load to other treatment stages and protect mechanical parts in those proceses. Main difference between static screens from other ar screens is much smaller bar spacing. It is possible to strain waste water mre effectivelly with 0,25mm openings. As the size of removed particles get smaller, it becomes more important to continously clean the screen surface. Energy of incoming wastewater is utilised to clean screen surface for static screen.
